Coming to terms with loss is never particularly easy - especially for young people. The Trauerland Centre for Grieving Children and Young People offers valuable support in this respect. In Bremen, Oldenburg and Verden around 130 volunteers are engaged in providing support in the mourning process. In addition, the association offers further assistance such as telephone counselling or individual therapeutic measures. The trained staff make sure that the children and young people are given enough time and space to grieve. This year the HANSA-FLEX Foundation has again donated a sum of 5,000 euros in order to support the organisation’s valuable work.
